Yesterday Edith told me they
had been out to the pub for
Christmas dinner with the other
residents from the nursing home.
She loved it. It was wonderful.
Len went. She wore a red dress
and everyone thought it was
Christmassy. She was very
happy, maybe the happiest I’ve
seen her.
